WVU at No. 21 in AP Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team dropped one spot to No. 21 in the latest Associated Press Poll, released on Monday.
The Mountaineers (17-5) ranked at No. 19 in the USA Today Sports Coaches Top 25 Poll released last week. The next USA Today Poll is slated for Tuesday.
WVU earned 159 points and is one of five Big 12 teams to appear in the rankings. Baylor (19-1) remained at No. 3 as the top Big 12 school with 732 points while Texas (16-43) dropped to No. 8 with 561 points. TCU (15-5) moved up to No. 22 with 103 points, while Oklahoma State (15-5) came in at No. 23 with 99 points.
West Virginia travels to Norman, Oklahoma, on Saturday for a tilt with the Sooners. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. EST at Lloyd Noble Center.
