
Governor Issues “I Belong" Day Proclamation

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia Governor Jim Justice has issued an official proclamation declaring Sunday, Jan. 28, as "I Belong" Day in the state of West Virginia.
The No. 20/19 WVU women's basketball team will host "I Belong" Day, a celebration of diversity and inclusion, when the Mountaineers take on the No. 3 Baylor Bears on Sunday. In collaboration with the office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, dozens of community and student organizations have joined the Mountaineers in celebration and will have displays set up on the concourse prior to the game. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. at the WVU Coliseum and will air live nationally on FS1.
The proclamation reads as follows:
