Today is More than Just a Pink Meet

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Held each season in an effort to gain support and promote awareness for breast cancer, the Wendy M. Roach Invitational holds a special place in the hearts of the West Virginia University gymnastics team.
The Mountaineers (6-5, 1-1) welcome No. 24 Iowa State and Maryland to the WVU Coliseum today for a 1 p.m. meet. Tickets are available now online and also will be sold at the Coliseum Gold Gate.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink today. Additionally, the Mountaineers will again collect sundry items to donate to Morgantown’s Betty Puskar Breast Care Center. Additionally, the first 500 fans today will receive a free WVU Gymnastics pink drawstring bag.
