MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The undefeated West Virginia University women's basketball team moved up one spot to come in at No. 9 in this week's Associated Press Top 25 Poll, released on Monday.
The Mountaineers (10-0) currently rank at No. 11 in the USA Today Sports Coaches Top 25 Poll released last week. The next USA Today Poll is slated for Tuesday.
WVU earned 505 points and is one of three Big 12 teams to appear in the rankings. No. 6 Baylor leads all Big 12 schools with 627 points and Texas sits just ahead of WVU at No. 8 with 595 points. Additionally, Oklahoma State (57) and Oklahoma (18) received votes in this week's poll.
After a 75-55 win over Radford at the Charleston Civic Center on Saturday, the Mountaineers return to action Monday evening when they host Morgan State in a 7 p.m. game inside the WVU Coliseum.
