The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is launching an all-new Mountaineer Kids Club, presented by Chick-fil-A on Patteson Drive, for the 2016-17 season.
The Mountaineer Kids Club (MKC) is an annual membership for youth in the eighth grade and under that is geared to provide young Mountaineer fans an exclusive opportunity to get more involved with WVU athletic programs. The MKC logo features the Mountaineer’s furry sidekick – Musket, who is a friend to Mountaineers of all ages.
An MKC membership costs just $25 annually and includes the official MKC t-shirt, five free kids meals at Chick-fil-A Patteson Drive, a member’s lanyard and ID badge to gain free admission to all WVU regular season home men’s soccer, women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball, gymnastics, wrestling, baseball games and more. Other exclusive opportunities for MKC members will be announced throughout the season.
“We are excited to provide unique experiences and unforgettable memories for the next generation of Mountaineers with the creation of the Mountaineer Kids Club,” said Matt Wells, WVU Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs.
“Chick-fil-A at Patteson Drive is excited to be partnering with WVU Athletics and IMG to launch the first ever Mountaineer Kids Club,” said Lisa Holt, franchise owner at Chick-fil-A Patteson Drive in Morgantown.
