Freshman Abby Kaufman was a five-year level 10 gymnast at Prestige Gymnastics before attending West Virginia University. She also is a two-time Junior Olympic National Championships qualifier.
If you could switch spots with another WVU athlete, who would it be?
I would switch spots with Ginny Thrasher on the rifle team
What do you love most about WVU?
The campus, my team and the atmosphere all make it easy to call it home

Take life one day at a time

My parents. They are my role models and who I strive to be like every day with their work ethics and positive outlook on life

Graduating high school a year early

How would you like WVU gymnastics to remember you?
Someone who works hard in and out of the gym, striving to help take our gymnastics program to the top alongside my incredible team
What was the most defining moment of your gymnastics career thus far?
Taking a chance and leap of faith starting a new chapter of my JO career at Prestige Gymnastics, which allowed me to get to where I am today!
What food could you live off of for the rest of your life?
Mac & Cheese

My phone, sunshine, food

Laguna Beach, California

My mom
What is your dream job?
A bakery chef
What was it that made you decide to come to WVU?
College is a hard adjustment to make, but I knew coming to this beautiful school that I would become part of a family that would help make this journey so amazing!
