MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -  A pair of West Virginia University women’s basketball games will be televised on ROOT SPORTS Pittsburgh and another game will air on Nexstar Broadcasting Group through WVU’s partnership with IMG.

 

The Mountaineers first TV appearance of the season is set for Sunday, Dec. 4, when WVU welcomes Ole Miss for the SEC/Big 12 Challenge at the WVU Coliseum. The game will air on the Nexstar Broadcasting Group, which includes WVNS in Beckley, WBOY in Clarksburg, WOWK in Huntington and WTRF in Wheeling.

 

Two WVU games will air on ROOT SPORTS Pittsburgh – Feb. 15 against Kansas State and Feb. 27 versus Kansas. A Big 12 Conference Women’s Basketball preview show will air multiple times on ROOT SPORTS Pittsburgh. The dates and times are Friday, Nov. 11, at 9 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 13, as 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 20, at 12:30 p.m.

 

WVU will be featured on the Big 12 Conference FOX Sports TV package four times this season: Jan. 4 vs. Baylor (FS2), Jan. 8 vs. Oklahoma (FS1), Jan. 21 at Baylor (FSN) and Jan. 29 at Texas (FS1).
