I know seven girls across the line ran 100 percent and really that’s all you can ask for. We knew all season that this was sort of a blanket finish in the Mid-Atlantic Region. After Penn State, we knew that the region was going to be very close from team’s two-five. Unfortunately, we were on the wrong side of those results. There’s probably still a little scenario where we might sneak into the national meet, we need some things to happen around the country. Regardless, I’m extremely proud of this team. It’s been fun coaching them this year. Hopefully we live for another day.”

The NC State Invite will offer a very high level of competition, with several top-20 teams that will make competing well in prelims a priority to earn what will be very difficult spots in finals. Team energy, staying focused on our race plans and improving on the small details is what I’m looking for this weekend.
