MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Tickets for the West Virginia University women’s basketball exhibition game against Concord are now on sale. The game will be played on Tuesday, Nov. 1, in a 7 p.m. tipoff at Robert C. Byrd High School in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Tickets are priced at $5 each and are only available for purchase in advance at Mountaineer World in Bridgeport and MCM Business Systems in Nutter Fort. Only cash or check will be accepted forms of payment. Tickets will also be sold in-person at the Mountaineer Ticket Office located on the 2nd floor of the WVU Coliseum Country Roads (formerly Red) Gate. Tickets will be available for $5 each at RCB Gym on game day.
All proceeds from the exhibition game will benefit those affected by the June flooding in southern West Virginia.
Clarksburg is the hometown of coach Mike Carey and it will mark the first time in program history that the Mountaineer women’s basketball team has played a game in Clarksburg. The last time a WVU program played in Clarksburg happened on March 11, 1942, when the Mountaineer men’s basketball program defeated Salem International, 77-63, at Carmichael Auditorium.
