Davis Named to All-East Region Second Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Second baseman Kyle Davis of the West Virginia University baseball team earned 2015 ABCA/Rawlings All-East Region Second Team honors this afternoon.
Davis was previously named an NCBWA Freshman First Team All-American and a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American.
A Cincinnati native, Davis led West Virginia with a .353 batting average and 17 doubles, while also posting one triple, four home runs and 31 RBIs. Davis was the lone player from the Big 12 to earn the honor.
Davis was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team and the All-Big 12 Rookie Team, ranking No. 3 in the conference in batting, No. 3 in doubles, No. 5 in hits, No. 5 in total bases and No. 8 in slugging percentage.
