Track Completes Virginia Challenge

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University track and field team wrapped up the second and final day of competition at the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Virginia, earlier tonight.
West Virginia has participants in three different events on Saturday.
Marsielle McBeam used a jump of 1.68 meters to place third overall in the high jump. The mark was McBeam’s best of this outdoor season.
In the women’s 1,500 meter run, Kelly Williams placed 11th in her heat and finished 26th overall in 4:24.47. Amy Cashin followed in 34th place with a time of 4:26.02.
Next up for the Mountaineers is the prestigious Penn Relays from April 23-25, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
