Mazey To Be Inducted in Cambria Co. Hall of Fame

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia University baseball coach Randy Mazey has been included in the Cambria County Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2014.
A native of Johnstown, Pa., Mazey was a star baseball player at United High and the local Johnstown Junior League/AAABA Tournament. He played in three AAABA Tournaments from 1984-86 and was inducted into the AAABA Hall of Fame in 2012.
Mazey was drafted out of United High by the Baltimore Orioles in the 11th round of the 1984 MLB Draft, but decided to go to Clemson, where he was a three-time All-ACC selection.
Mazey is one of five new members that will be inducted during a July 12 banquet at the Pasquerilla Conference Center in Johnstown, Pa.
Other WVU ties in the Cambria County Hall of Fame include Tom Bradley and Jeff Hostetler.
