Henry Named ESPN True Frosh All-American

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Freshman safety Dravon Henry was named to ESPN’s True Freshman All-America Team, announced today by ESPN.com.
Henry started every game for the Mountaineers in 2014. The Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, native recorded 37 tackles, two interceptions, including a 52-yard interception return for a touchdown at Oklahoma State on October 25, and one tackle for loss.
Henry joined freshman running back Samaje Perine of Oklahoma and freshman wide receiver KD Cannon of Baylor as Big 12 Conference student-athletes recognized.
West Virginia will face Texas A&M in the 2014 Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee, on Dec. 29, and it will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools. Scheduled kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT. The Mountaineers will be making their 33rd bowl appearance.
