Rifle Remains on Top

The West Virginia University rifle team ranks No. 1 in the College Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Poll for the sixth straight week.
Today's rankings are based on the last score shot by each team.
TCU is No. 2 in this week’s poll, its highest rank of the season, after defeating No. 3 Jacksonville State and No. 13 Nevada in a tri-match last weekend with a 4690 score.
Kentucky climbed six spots from last week’s poll to No. 4, while Nebraska climbed fle Reamins
Alaska-Fairbanks dropped two to No. 6. Murray State, Air Force, Akron and Ohio State complete this week’s Top 10.
The Mountaineers (3-0, 1-0 GARC) most recently shot against Ohio State and defeated the Buckeyes 4695-4652. The team returns to the WVU Rifle Range this Saturday, Nov. 8, to take on Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) foe No. 11 Memphis. The match will begin at 8 a.m.
