Rifle On Top of Poll for Fifth Week

The West Virginia University rifle team ranks No. 1 on the College Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Poll for the fifth straight week.
Today's rankings are based on the last score shot by each team.
Air Force climbs one spot to No. 2, while Jacksonville State climbs four spots to No. 3 after a close 4664-4662 win over No. 6 Murray State last weekend.
TCU remains in the No. 4 spot, tied with Alaska-Fairbanks.
Following Murray State, Nebraska drops one to No. 7. Ohio State, Memphis and Kentucky complete this week’s Top 10.
The Mountaineers (3-0, 1-0 GARC) competed in two matches on the road last week. On Saturday, Oct. 25, they defeated No. 14 Akron 4695-4611 for their first Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) win of the season. On Sunday, Oct. 26, they shot another 4695 score to defeat No. 8 Ohio State (4652).
