Extra Time with Carly Black

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – As the 2013 season progresses throughout the coming weeks, the West Virginia University women’s soccer team will be introducing itself to the Mountaineer faithful on WVUsports.com.
Next up – redshirt-freshman defender Carly Black. Back on the pitch following a 2012 season which she missed recovering from a knee injury, the Horsham, Pa., native looks comfortable on the No. 9-ranked Mountaineers’ back line, aiding WVU to two straight shutouts last weekend. The exercise physiology major travels with her teammates tomorrow to the Duke Nike Classic. WVU will kick against the No. 12 Blue Devils on Friday, Sept. 6, at 6 p.m., and No. 1 North Carolina on Sunday at 11 a.m.
