MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - With the 2013 season right around the corner, the West Virginia University women’s soccer team will be introducing itself to the Mountaineer faithful on WVUsports.com.
Next up – freshman defender Kadeisha Buchanan. A native of Brampton, Ontario, Buchanan has started both exhibition matches this season for the Mountaineers, anchoring a backline that has yet to surrender a goal. She spent the summer training with the Canadian National and U-20 teams. Buchanan started for the national team in a friendly match against the United States on June 2, and then traveled with the U-20 team to play three training matches in Copenhagen, Denmark, in July.
