MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – This season, the No. 25-ranked West Virginia University gymnastics team will lift the veil and give Mountaineer fans a closer look in The Extra Tenth. Each Monday, a different gymnast will be featured.
The 14th edition features senior Chelsea Goldschrafe. The Franklin Lakes, N.J., native has competed in 48 career meets and needs to compete in one more to break onto the WVU all-time chart. Currently a three-event specialist, she has competed on all four events at some point in her Mountaineer career and logged time as an all-arounder three times in 2012. A staple in the Mountaineers’ floor lineup, she has scored a career-best 9.85 twice in the last three meets. She also competes on vault and bars for the Mountaineers.
