Five Head to Combines

Five members of the 2012 WVU men’s soccer team are either at or heading to combines to showcase their skills in front of representatives from professional teams.

Uwem Etuk and Eric Schoenle were two of 54 college players invited to participate in the prestigious adidas MLS Player Combine from Jan. 11-15 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Also heading to Florida are Travis Pittman and Shadow Sebele. The InfoSport Pro Soccer Combine will take place in Sarasota, Fla., from Jan. 8-10.

Rounding out the combine participants is Peabo Doue, who is currently participating in a combine sponsored by the Colorado Rapids of the MLS.
