Rifle: Zublasing, Bock Complete Air Rifle

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Junior Petra Zublasing shot 393 and finished 46th in today’s women’s 10m air rifle at the London International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup, at the Royal Artillery Barracks, in Woolwich, London.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) All-American and 2012 NCAA air rifle champion represented the Italian National Team. Her final score was comprised of relay marks of 99-99-98-98.
Freshman Amy Bock competed for the Puerto Rico National Team and finished with a final score of 386 (95-98-97-96).
Sonja Pfeilschiftre of Germany finished first with a combined total of 503.0. She shot 398 in the open relay and 105.0 in the finals. China’s Siling Yi (502.5) finished second, while Austria’s Lisa Ungerank (500.3) placed third.
There will not be any Mountaineers in action tomorrow, as pistol and skeet events are scheduled. The men’s 10m air rifle will take place this Saturday.
