Four Wrestlers Remain Ranked

MORGANTOWN, W.Va – Four West Virginia University wrestlers remain ranked in various Division I wrestling polls, as the Mountaineers prepare for this weekend’s Cliff Keen Invitational held in Las Vegas.
Shane Young (125) holds rankings of No. 17 and No. 21 in Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine and Wrestling Report, respectively. Young, who continues to recover from an ankle injury, has a 1-0 record.
Colin Johnston (133) is ranked No. 20 by InterMat and No. 24 by Wrestling Report. After scoring WVU’s lone win in its dual meet against Penn State, Johnston’s record sits at 3-3.
Nathan Pennesi (141) is ranked No. 18 by Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine, No. 20 by InterMat and No. 25 by Wrestling Report. The Latrobe, Pa., native holds a 6-2 overall mark this season.
Lance Bryson (184) is the final Mountaineer grappler that is ranked, as he owns a ranking of No. 28 by Wrestling Report. Bryson sports a 3-3 record this season.
Tournament action from Las Vegas will begin on Friday, Nov. 30, at 9 a.m.
