Women's Soccer: Season Opener Time Change

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University’s women’s soccer match at Virginia on Friday, Aug. 19, originally scheduled for 7 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium, has been moved to 7:30 p.m.
The Mountaineers, the defending BIG EAST champions, are 2-1-1 in their last four meetings with the Cavaliers, including a 1-0 victory in Morgantown last season.
West Virginia returns eight starters, including five all-BIG EAST performers for 2011. Coach Nikki Izzo-Brown begins her 16th season in charge of the Mountaineers and has led her teams to 11 straight NCAA tournament appearances.
