Men's Soccer: Bevin and Cain Score, Advance

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University men’s soccer signees Andy Bevin and Ryan Cain each scored a goal in yesterday’s semifinal win over Fiji to help advance the New Zealand U-20 Men’s National Team to the Oceania Football Confederation U-20 World Cup Qualification finals.
Both players came off the bench in the 6-0 victory, with Bevin coming to the field in the 64th minute and Cain in the 76th minute. Bevin scored the fifth goal in the 79th minute, while Cain scored the final goal of the game with only one minute remaining in regulation.
New Zealand will now take on Solomon Islands on Friday afternoon at North Harbour Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand. New Zealand defeated Solomon Islands 3-0 in an opening round match. Bevin scored the third goal of that match.
