MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia women’s soccer team resumes its spring season with a home match against Virginia Tech on Saturday, April 2, at 2 p.m.
“We need to get outside and compete,” says coach Nikki Izzo-Brown, whose team loses six seniors from its 2010 team. “Virginia Tech is an NCAA tournament team and it should be a great match between ACC and BIG EAST programs.”
The Mountaineers will play three 30-minute periods tomorrow against the Hokies. Tomorrow’s match is the first of three contests at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium this spring.
Admission is free and open to the public.
