MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Mountaineers’ 43-16 win against Connecticut on Saturday, Oct. 8.
Offensive Champion – Stedman Bailey; Defensive Champion – Bruce Irvin; Special Teams Champion – Mike Molinari; Offensive Scout Champion – Lucas Henn; Defensive Scout Champion – Rob Kressler.
No. 13/16 West Virginia (5-1, 1-0 BIG EAST) has an off-week, before travelling to Syracuse (4-2, 0-1 BIG EAST) for a Friday night game at the Carrier Dome (49,262) on Oct. 21, at 8 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.
