Swimming: WVU Women Play Host to Ohio

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University women’s swimming and diving team will host Ohio on Saturday, Jan. 29, at noon in the WVU Natatorium.
The women are coming off a 202-96 loss to Maryland last Saturday at home. In the meet, Rachael Burnett finished with two victories and Kata Fodor with one first-place finish.
Ohio comes into the meet with a 6-2 overall record and 3-1 in the Mid-American Conference. The Bobcats will face Duquesne on Friday evening, before making the trip to Morgantown. Rachel Heim leads the team and holds the best MAC time in the 100 free, the second-best time in the 100 back and the best time in the 100 fly.
This will be the final meet of the dual meet season for West Virginia as they now prepare for the BIG EAST Championships from Feb. 16-19, in Louisville, Ky. Results will be available at MSNsportsNET.com following Saturday’s meet.
