Football: Coastal Carolina Award Winners

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Coastal Carolina game on Saturday, Sept. 4.

Offensive Champion – Jock Sanders; Defensive Champion – Terence Garvin; Special Teams Champion – Gregg Pugnetti; Offensive Scout Champion – C.J. Huffman; Defensive Scout Champion – Taige Redman.

West Virginia (1-0) travels to Huntington, W.Va., to face Marshall (0-1) for the annual “Friends of Coal Bowl” on Friday, Sept. 10, at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
