MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University guard Darryl “Truck” Bryant underwent surgery to repair the fractured fifth metatarsal in his right foot Wednesday at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Bryant played in 35 games as a sophomore, starting 31 of those contests. He averaged 9.3 points per game and was second on the team in assists with 108.
