MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Mountaineers’ game at Connecticut on Friday, Oct. 29.
Offensive Champion – Brad Starks; Defensive Champion – Chris Neild; Pat Lazear; Special Teams Champion – Gregg Pugnetti; Offensive Scout Champion – Eric Rollman; Defensive Scout Champion – Ishmael Banks.
Next up for WVU (5-3, 1-2 BIG EAST) is a home date with Cincinnati (3-5, 1-2 BIG EAST) at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium (60,000) in Morgantown, W.Va., on Saturday, Nov. 13, at noon. The game will be televised on the BIG EAST Network.
