Swimming: Women Host Rutgers

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia women’s swimming and diving team will host Rutgers in a BIG EAST meet on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. in the WVU Natatorium.
West Virginia currently has a 1-3 record and is coming off BIG EAST losses to Louisville and Cincinnati last weekend. Senior Lyn Ann Nelson currently has the fastest 200 free time in the BIG EAST, while sophomore Kata Fodor leads the BIG EAST in the 1,000 free and 1,650 free.
Rutgers hosted a BIG EAST quad meet last weekend and defeated Georgetown (226-127), while falling to Connecticut (224-129) and Villanova (209-144). Junior Brianne Lindblad led the team with first-place finishes in the 100 back and 200 back.
Last season at Rutgers, the Scarlet Knights were able to defeat the sickened West Virginia women, 159-125.
