Men's Basketball: Television Schedule Announced

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University and the BIG EAST have announced the television schedule for the 2010-11 men’s basketball season.
The Mountaineers will have all 30 of their regular season games broadcast, including at least 16 regular season games on national television. WVU will have two games on CBS (Purdue and Notre Dame) and two games on ESPN’s Big Monday (Pitt and at Syracuse). Marquette and Georgetown will be televised by ESPN2, while Providence, at Villanova, at Pitt, Connecticut and Louisville will be televised by either ESPN or ESPN2.
West Virginia will have at least three regular season games on ESPNU(Davidson, second day of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off and at Louisville). The final day of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off will be televised by ESPN2 or ESPNU. WVU’s game at Duquesne will be televised by CBS College Sports, while the home opener against Oakland will be broadcast by ESPN3.com.
The BIG EAST Network will televise 12 West Virginia contests, including the Rutgers game, which will be the BIG EAST Game of the Week. The Marshall game will be televised by the Capital Classic Network. The two exhibition games will be available for live streaming on MSNsportsNET.com.
For the first day of the BIG EAST Championship, ESPN2 will carry the afternoon doubleheader and ESPNU will telecast the evening doubleheader. The remaining sessions will air on ESPN.
