Football: Auburn Award Winners Announced

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for the Auburn game last Saturday.
Offensive Champion –Jock Sanders; special mention – Noel Devine; Defensive Champion – Chris Neild; special mention – J.T. Thomas; Special Teams Champion – Mark Rodgers; special mention – Scott Kozlowski; Offensive Scout Champion – Pat Eger; Defensive Scout Champion – Citrine Warren.
West Virginia (2-1) plays host to Colorado (1-2) in a nationally televised ESPN game on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium. This will be the second meeting between the two schools, with Colorado holding a 1-0 advantage after winning last year’s meeting 17-14, in overtime at Boulder.
