MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University Football Coach Bill Stewart has announced that freshman wide receiver Logan Heastie has been given clearance by the NCAA Eligibility Center and is able to return to the practice field today for the 3 p.m. practice at Mountaineer Field.
“I want to thank the NCAA Eligibility Center and WVU Interim Director of Compliance Chad Wall for their hard work to resolve this matter quickly,” Stewart said. “The NCAA Eligibility Center has my respect and confidence for the manner and timeliness in the handling of the questions about Logan’s eligibility. I look forward to having him participate this spring.”
The Mountaineers will practice today and tomorrow, completing the first week of spring practice. WVU will have three more weeks of practice before finishing the spring campaign with the annual Gold-Blue Game on Sat., April 18, at 12:30 p.m.
Once again, the cost of admission is $5 at the gate and all proceeds will benefit the West Virginia University Children’s Hospital.
