Men's Baskeball: ESPN GameDay Coming

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – ESPN College GameDay will make its first ever visit to West Virginia University this Saturday, March 7, as the Mountaineers play host to No. 6 Louisville.
The 11 a.m. national show featuring Rece Davis, Jay Bilas, Digger Phelps, Hubert Davis and Bob Knight will showcase the day’s events in college basketball live from the WVU Coliseum floor.
Limited general public parking for the ESPN event is available at the WVU Natatorium and Shell Building lot. Parking is also available at Chick-fil-A on Patteson Drive and the Green Lot on Van Voorhis Road. Shuttle service is available from the Green Lot for $4 round trip. WVU season parking passes are valid in their designated Coliseum lot, and no tailgating will be permitted.
Coliseum gates open at 8:30 a.m. and admission is free to the GameDay broadcast. WVU students should enter through the Gold gate with a valid student I.D., and the general public may enter through the Coliseum Blue gate.
The first 950 WVU students with a valid I.D. to enter through the Gold gate for the College GameDay broadcast will receive a wristband good for priority lower level seating for the game at 9:00 p.m. At the conclusion of ESPN’s College GameDay program, the Coliseum will be cleared in preparation for the Mountaineers’ final home game of the season against the Cardinals.
WVU students may begin lining up at the Coliseum Gold gate for the basketball game starting at 3 p.m. Saturday. One line will be formed for students with wristbands and a second line will provide entrance for students without a wristband. Students who received a wristband at the College GameDay broadcast earlier in the day must return to the gate by 5 p.m. with a valid WVU I.D. to maintain seating priority. Students with wristbands arriving after 5 p.m. will not receive priority seating.
West Virginia plays host to DePaul on Wednesday, March 4, at 7 p.m. in the Coliseum. Tickets are still available for the contest and can be purchased by calling 1-800-WVU GAME or online at WVUGAME.com. No tickets remain for the Louisville contest. Fans are encouraged to wear gold to the GameDay show in the morning and the nationally televised game against the Cardinals.
