MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Pitt game on Friday, Nov. 27.
Offensive Champion –Wes Lyons, Alric Arnett; Defensive Champion – Robert Sands, Brandon Hogan; Special Teams Champion – Tyler Bitancurt; Offensive Scout Champion – Ian Loy, Courtney Stuart; Defensive Scout Champion – Jamal Nelson.
The No. 23/24 Mountaineers (8-3, 4-2 Big East) travel to Piscataway, N.J., to face Rutgers (8-3, 3-3 Big East) on Saturday, Dec. 5, at Rutgers Stadium (52,454) at noon. The game will be televised on ESPN and streamed live on ESPN360.com.
