Football: Kozlowski Honored by BIG EAST

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia punter Scott Kozlowski has been named the BIG EAST Special Teams Player of the Week, announced today by the conference.
In WVU's 35-24 victory over Colorado, Kozlowski averaged 48 yards per punt, including a long of 56 yards. In the third quarter, the West Palm Beach, Fla., native sailed a 53 yard punt from WVU's 14 yard line and a 47 yarder from the WVU 19 to prevent the Buffaloes from having good field position.
Kozlowski is averaging 48.2 yards per punt with a net average of 39.2 yards.
Tailback Noel Devine also was recognized by the conference, being named to the weekly honor roll after tallying a career-high 220 yards rushing, including a 77 yard score.
Devine is the only BIG EAST rusher to amass over 200 yards this season, and is the nation's third leading rusher in yards per game with 135.
