MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia University freshman forward Amanda Keehan has has chosen to give up basketball due to medical reasons.
A 6-1 freshman forward from Cincinnati, Ohio, Keehan appeared in 12 games averaging 1.3 points and 0.8 rebounds per contest this season for the Mountaineers.
West Virginia (11-5, 0-3) returns to action at Villanova (9-7, 1-2) Saturday, Jan. 17, at 2 p.m., at The Pavilion.
