Mark Cole begins his first season as the Mountaineers’ Administrative Assistant.
Cole has extensive job experience with other baseball-playing organizations, including the Rochester Redwings – Triple A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins – and the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Class A affiliate of the New York Mets.
The Dunkirk, N.Y., native – who also worked with the Buffalo Bills – will be responsible for maintaining and updating WVU's recruiting software database, working with the coaches to develop marketing strategies for the ballclub and assisting with the operation of the WVU baseball camps.
Cole is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Sport Management at WVU, and is interested in finding employment at a front office position in the collegiate or professional ranks.
Cole earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y. He also received a minor in Finance.
