MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Sophomore right-handed pitcher Billy Gross has been named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll as announced by the league office. West Virginia defeated Duquesne 8-1 in the 2008 home opener at Hawley Field on March 5.
Gross (1-0) pitched eight strong innings, retiring the last 10 batters he faced against the Dukes.
