MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia senior punter Pat McAfee was named a first team All-American today by CBSSports.com.
McAfee was named a third team All-American by both the Associated Press and Phil Steele’s Football Magazine. Last week, he was named a second team All-American selection by the Walter Camp Football Foundation.

He set the WVU all-time kick scoring and overall scoring records this season, scoring 377 points for his career. He also is the No. 1 leader in the BIG EAST for career extra points made with 205.
West Virginia finished with an 8-4 record and tied for second place in the BIG EAST Conference. The Mountaineers will play North Carolina (8-4) in the Meineke Car Care Bowl on Dec. 27, in Charlotte, N.C., at Bank of America Stadium.
