Volleyball: Mountaineers to Host Robert Morris

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University volleyball team will play host to Robert Morris in a 7 p.m. match on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the WVU Coliseum.
The Mountaineers are 5-10, 0-4, on the season after falling to Georgetown and USF this past weekend. Freshman setter Kari Post had a good weekend as she recorded 76 total assists, including a career-high 47 in the game against USF.
Freshman outside hitter Michelle Kopecky led the Mountaineers in kills with 25, while sophomore libero Bonnie West posted 29 digs.
Robert Morris is now 12-7, 1-0 after defeating St. Francis (N.Y.) this past weekend. Senior Emily Wolthuis led the Colonials with 13 kills and eight digs.
Last season the Mountaineers swept the Colonials 3-0 at the Charles L. Sewall Center, in Moon Township, Pa. WVU leads the all-time series record with RMU by a 15-3 count.
