Cross Country: WVU To Race At Penn State

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University cross country team will travel to University Park, Pa, to take part in the Penn State National Invitational on Friday, Oct. 17. The race is set to begin at 10 a.m.
WVU, which is ranked No. 7 in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Associations Division I Women’s National Poll, and No. 2 in the Mid-Atlantic region, will face BIG EAST foe No. 13 Villanova, as well as Penn State, Wake Forest, Duke and Tennessee, among others.
“I’m excited to see the depth of the team this weekend,” comments Head Coach Sean Cleary. “I think they are going to pass the test with flying colors.”
Next up for the Mountaineers will be the BIG EAST Championships to be held on Oct. 31.
