Volleyball: Mountaineers Named All-Tournament Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University senior volleyball players Abby Tevis and Kailee Goold were named to the all-tournament team this past weekend at the 2007 Morehead State Invitational.
Goold a setter for the Mountaineers from Avon Lake, Ohio, capped off the weekend with 39 digs, 12 kills and 112 sets. Outside hitter and Pittsburgh, Pa., native Tevis finished first on the team in kills with 42, while also posting 29 digs and three blocks.
The Mountaineers finished the weekend 2-1, with victories over Towson (3-0) and tournament host Morehead State (3-2).
WVU will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 1, when it tavels to Buffalo for the Western New York Invitational. The Mountaineers will face Albany, Buffalo and Canisius throughout the weekend.
