Women’s Soccer: Spring Season Concludes At OSU

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The spring booking concludes this weekend for the West Virginia University women’s soccer team with a trip to Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, April 28.
The Mountaineers will play a 90-minute match against the Ohio State Buckeyes, members of the Big Ten Conference. Kickoff at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium is slated for 4 p.m.
“It will be great to see how our team has transformed from all the hard work put forth heading into Saturday’s game versus Ohio State," says head coach Nikki Izzo-Brown. “The ladies have worked hard and have stayed focused with our goals and we hope to finish strong this weekend.”
Saturday marks the fifth and final competition weekend for the Mountaineers this spring. This fall will be the 12th season for Izzo-Brown leading the West Virginia program.
