Men's Basketball: Bawinkel Sidelined

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Freshman guard Devan Bawinkel is expected to miss at least the next three weeks after suffering a fracture in his right hand in practice last Friday.

Bawinkel, a native of Winnebago, Ill., has appeared in 19 games this season, averaging 1.9 points per game.

West Virginia (18-4, 7-3) resumes Big East play Wednesday night at the WVU Coliseum facing Pitt in the Backyard Brawl. Tip off is set for 7:30 pm and there are still a limited number of tickets remaining for the game. Stop by or call the Mountaineer Ticket Office toll-free at 1-800-WVU GAME.
