- No college football season is complete without the grab bag of items given to players at bowl games. It is being reported that each Mountaineer is to receive the following from the Fiesta Bowl:
20-inch Vizio LCD HDTV
Tourneau watch
Oakley sunglasses
Hat
Several Mountaineers were being fitted this morning by Oakley representatives at the team hotel. Each player had six different styles of sunglasses to pick from.
A Fiesta Bowl rep said the NCAA allows bowls to spend $500 on each player, up from the $350 limit in 2005.
