Men’s Soccer: WVU Travels To Seton Hall

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The No. 20/19 West Virginia University men’s soccer team will travel to South Orange, N.J., to take on BIG EAST foe Seton Hall on Saturday, Oct. 27. The Mountaineers stand at 9-5-1 on the season, 5-3-1 in conference play, while the Pirates are 7-8 overall and hold a 3-5 record against BIG EAST opponents.
SHU holds a 9-3-0 all-time record over the Mountaineers with WVU defeating the Pirates last season, 5-3, in Morgantown.
Most recently, SHU posted a 4-0 win over Adelphi on Oct. 17 which gave SHU a season-high four game winning streak. The Pirates then fell at Notre Dame 2-0 on Oct. 21 and against Providence 3-2 in overtime on Oct. 24. Junior forward Eliseo Giusfredi is one goal short of 10th place all-time on the Seton Hall career goals list after scoring twice against Adelphi on Oct. 17.
Game time is set for 3 p.m. at Owen T. Carroll Field on the campus of Seton Hall University.
