Rifle: WVU Hosts Alumni Match

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The West Virginia University rifle team hosted the squad’s alumni today at the WVU rifle range. The Alumni defeated the current Mountaineer squad with a score of 1168. The freshmen came in second place with a score of 1165 followed by the upperclassmen who shot 1163.
Alumnus Dale Cox led the Alumni with a score of 397. Kyle Smith shot a 392 to lead the WVU freshmen and Doug McCallister and Bryant Wallizer both shot a score of 388 to lead the upper classman campaign.
The match was a 40-shot format in the standing position with either the air rifle or the use of the smallbore. onent Time/Results
