MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University rowing team heads to Camden, N.J., to compete in the Knecht Cup, April 8-9.
The Mountaineers are coming off a competitive weekend at the Murphy Cup in Philadelphia, Pa., on March 25. WVU's four boat took second place (7:59.59) in the preliminaries. The varsity eight boat took fourth place (7:02.52) in a tough heat behind St. Joseph's, Bucknell and Navy, who all went on to place in the top three of the finals.
