MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University baseball team’s first game against Norfolk State at Hawley Field has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
Game two of the series with Norfolk State (7-11) slated for Wednesday, March 15, at 3 p.m., has been rescheduled to start at 1 p.m.
WVU (11-3) currently leads the all-time series with Norfolk State, 2-0. The schools only meeting came last season in Norfolk, Va., when WVU opened its season with a two-game series sweep of the Spartans.
